Quality Guidelines for Used Trading Cards

When listing used trading cards, you are required to select "商品の状態" (Item Condition) based on the condition of the item.

Please check the following guidelines and select the option that is closest to the condition of your item.

※The contents of this page, including the picture showing the condition of the items, are to be intended only as an example. These standards may vary depending on degree, extent, and the item itself.

Please note that during inspection and authentication, if there is a discrepancy between the option you selected and the actual condition of the item, or if the required images are missing, the transaction may be canceled after checking with the buyer to see if they are willing to continue the transaction.

We ask for your cooperation in selecting the appropriate condition and uploading the required images.

※The color of the images on the product page may appear slightly different from the actual product depending on factors such as the photographed conditions and so on.

※Please refer to the "Guidelines for listing items for sale" to confirm which areas are required to be shown when taking pictures of an item.

Please see below for details regarding each condition.

※The inspection and authentication requirements for PSA items are different. Please check the bottom of this page for details.

Items that can be listed in the "A(開封直後同様の美品)" (Mint condition - brand new, no damages) category are limited to items that have been stored for collection purposes and are still in the same condition as they were immediately after being opened ("fresh out of the pack").

Very minor chipping, horizontal/vertical lines, holo misalignment and minor cut marks that may occur during the manufacturing and distribution process are considered to be examples of an item’s initial manufacturing defects.

Items whose condition is comparable to the examples shown below are considered to meet the guideline standards for "A(開封直後同様の美品)" (Mint condition - brand new, no damages) and therefore may be listed under this category.

※Even if an item is in a condition that can be assessed as its initial manufacturing defects, if the existing defects are very prominent or are found in several areas, please list the item in the "B(小さなキズ/ソリがある品)" (Minor scratches or scuffs) category.

Please choose this category (【B(小さなキズ/ソリがある品) 】"Minor scratches or scuffs") when an item presents minor scuffing, scratches and similar that are not noticeable at first sight.

Items whose condition is comparable to the examples shown below (including when the defects mentioned below are found in several areas) are considered to meet the guideline standards for "B(小さなキズ/ソリがある品)" (Minor scratches or scuffs) and therefore can be listed under this category.

※If the area where the defects are found is extensive, please list the item in the "C(中程度のキズ/ソリあり)" (Moderate scratches or scuffs) category.

Please choose this category (【C(中程度のキズ/ソリあり)】"Moderate scratches or scuffs") when an item presents chipping, scratches, cracking and similar defects that may occur in multiple areas when used during gameplay.

Items that present distortion, fingerprint marks, and are in a condition that is comparable to the examples shown below (including when the defects mentioned below are found in multiple areas) are considered to meet the guideline standards for "C(中程度のキズ/ソリあり)" (Moderate scratches or scuffs) and therefore may be listed under this category.

※If the defects extend to the entirety of the item, please list the item in the "D(大きなダメージあり)" (Major damage) category.

Please choose this category (【D(大きなダメージあり)】"Major damage") for items that have heavy signs of wear on the entirety of their surface.

Items that present very prominent scratching and/or moderate scratching that is comparable to the examples shown below are considered to meet the guideline standards for "(D(大きなダメージあり)" (Major damage), therefore can be listed under this category.

※If an item presents staining that negatively affects its design, such as traces of food and drink or pen marks, or is severely creased or chipped, it cannot be listed even in the "(D(大きなダメージあり)" (Major damage) category.

We inspect and authenticate items based on the requirements listed below.

Please select the condition of the product according to their PSA rating.

Please be assured that we will carefully authenticate the following details even in its original condition.

・If the PSA holder presents signs of opening;

・If the PSA holder is damaged;

・If the PSA holder is a counterfeit.

・If the card itself (inside the holder) is a counterfeit.

*The condition of the card itself (inside the holder) will not be checked regarding if it conforms to its PSA rank.

We will inspect and authenticate the items with a similar main details as the items authenticated by PSA.

Please select the condition of the items from A to D, with the following standards:

・A (Mint condition)：Extremely minor initial manufacturing defects levelRating by the authenticating institution is 10

・B (Minor scratches or scuffs)：Extremely minor initial manufacturing defects levelRating by the authenticating institution is 9 or 9.5

・C (Moderate scratches or scuffs)：Extremely minor initial manufacturing defects levelRating by the authenticating institution is 8

・D (Major damage)：Extremely minor initial manufacturing defects levelRating by the authenticating institution is 7 or less

Furthermore, minor scratches and air bubbles in the card holder are considered within our authentication standards, as they can occur during the manufacturing and distribution process.

Sellers will select the condition of the item according to the PSA rating.

Cards that are distributed inside clear packaging, such as some promotional cards, can be listed by sellers even if they have not yet been removed from their original packaging.

If listed in said unopened condition, SNKRDUNK will authenticate the card assuming it to be in the range of initial defects by default, unless the item itself is bent or if it shows prominent damage.

Even if such items will be authenticated according to the above-mentioned assumptions, rest assured that we will carefully authenticate such items focusing on the following points:

・If there is any evidence of the clear packaging having been opened;

・If the clear packaging is damaged;

・Whether the clear packaging is counterfeit or not;

・Whether the card itself (inside the clear packaging) is counterfeit or not.
