Quality Guidelines for Used Streetwear

When listing an item in the Used category, it is required to select a “Item condition” corresponding to its state and to upload pictures of the item.

Please select the condition level that is closest to the actual state of the item in your possession.

If the selected condition level does not match the actual condition of the item, we will confirm with the buyer at the time of authentication whether or not the transaction can continue.

Please note that, if the transaction is cancelled, we may return the item(s) by cash on delivery.

・Precautions regarding ‘Item Pictures’ and ‘Supplementary Information’ are written at the bottom section of this page.

・The condition list is only an example. Condition level standards may vary depending on the item.

・Product images on SNKRDUNK may appear different from actual color tone due to the photoshooting environment.

・Quality standards for luxury brand items (including collaboration items) are different from others.

・Regarding luxury brand items on SNKRDUNK, you can check them by tapping the “+” button at the bottom center of the app screen and then tapping “ハイブランド商品を出品” (“List Luxury Items”).

Please ensure to completely inspect your item according to the アパレル(衣類)の事前検品手順(”Streetwear (clothing) Initial Inspection procedure”).

Small areas of damage like the following can be noted upon performing this preliminary inspection.

・Staining, pilling, or fraying around the neck and the ends of the sleeves

・Breakage, or paint chipping on the zipper

・Loss of shape or pilling on hats

As with the listing of a new item, only "unused" items may be listed under this category.

*Items tried on in the store at the time of purchase can be listed as "新古品(未着用)" (New used item (unused)).

Items with stains or fraying thought to having occurred during production will be considered to be individual differences between items and will meet our guideline standards for 「新古品」(”New Used”) items.

Please select "新古品(未使用)" (New Used Item (unused)) if you would like to consider purchasing the item after confirming the condition of the item (such as stains, fraying, etc. that may occur during production) from the images posted.

You may list items that have only been worn outdoors for a short time and show little signs of wear.

Items with only partial areas of minor pilling, or that meet the conditions shown below, will meet our guideline standards for the 「未使用に近い」(‘Nearly unused’) condition.

In addition, images of the stains, fabric pilling, fraying, and cracked print is required(if exist). If there are not enough images to verify the condition, the item will not meet the product guidelines for the "未使用に近い" (Nearly unused) category.

You can list items that show signs of wear but have no noticeable stains, fabric pilling, or fraying.

Items that have minor flaws such as those can be found on items worn several times (approximately 2 to 9 times), or meet the conditions shown below, will meet our guideline standards for the condition of 「目立った傷や汚れなし」‘No noticeable scratches or stains’

Items with strong signs of wear, or with insufficient images to verify their condition, will not meet the product guidelines for the "目立った傷や汚れなし" (No noticeable scratches or stains) category.

You can list items that have signs of wear that can be seen at first glance and have stains and fabric pilling that can be seen throughout the item.

Items that have minor stains, fabric pilling, or yellowing which can be seen on items worn ten or more times (approximately 10 to 19 times) or meet the conditions shown below, are considered to meet the product guidelines for the "やや傷や汚れあり" (Slightly scratched and stained) category.

Items with significant damage due to age or wear, or if there are insufficient images to verify the item's condition, will not meet the product guidelines for the "やや傷や汚れあり" (Slightly scratched or stained) category.

Items with strong signs of wear, such as large stains, fraying, yellowing, or loss of shape, as seen in products worn dozens of times (approximately 20 times or more) or meet the conditions shown below, are considered to meet the product guidelines for the "やや傷や汚れあり" (Have scratches and stains) category.

Items with strong damage that may affect the design and wearability, or with insufficient images to verify the item condition, will not meet the product guidelines for the "傷や汚れあり" (Have scratches and stains) category.

Please select "全体的に状態が悪い" (Poor overall condition) for items with severe stains, yellowing, or damage that affect the design and wearability.

Although items in poor condition can be listed, please be sure to take close-up pictures of multiple areas of the item and describe the condition in the supplementary information section, so its condition can be accurately verified.

If there are insufficient images to verify the item's condition, it will be deemed that the item does not meet the product guidelines even in the "全体的に状態が悪い" (Poor overall condition) category.

Please post a picture of your item according to the instructions on the listing page.

If you take pictures in an area that is too bright, the item can appear different to how it is in reality.

If we are unable to accurately identify staining or the degree of yellowing, or if there is a discrepancy in item’s condition e.g. the degree of usage is different compared to the picture provided on the listing page, the transaction may be cancelled.

Please be aware of the environment in which you are taking a picture, and show the item in a way that its condition can be accurately conveyed to the buyer.

Please provide detailed information about the condition of your item.

We kindly ask for you to make sure to include information that is difficult to understand from pictures, such as if there are any odors on the item, in the supplementary information section.

Please understand that the transaction may be cancelled if there is any discrepancy between the item’s description and the item in reality, such as an odor on the item.
