Quality Guidelines for New Streetwear

Quality Guidelines for New Streetwear

Product conditions such as minor stains, scratches and similar can be often found even in items purchased from authorized retail stores. Such conditions may be due to the nature of the materials used, or may have occurred during the manufacturing and distribution process.
For this reason, such conditions will be deemed to be within the range of SNKRDUNK’s guideline standards for brand-new, authentic items.

Please check below for details on individual standards.

Stains obtained from item usage or heavy stains/dirt will not meet the guideline standards.

【Fraying/Tears】
Small fraying or rough stitching may occur during the manufacturing process or when the item is handled (displayed, sold, packaged, etc.) at authorized retailers (as they are often seen even when purchased from authorized retailers) and will be considered to meet the product guidelines.

We consider items that show signs of wear or have extensive fabric pilling not meeting the product guidelines.

In addition, items that are found to have dirt, stains, or fabric pilling from the initial state (when manufactured or sold at authorized retailers) will also meet the product guidelines.
Any condition that shows signs of wear beyond the degree of trial wear, and extensive stain, wrinkling, or fabric pilling will not meet the product guidelines.

The sticker attached to the visor (bill of the hat) is also part of the item. If we find evidence of sticker reattachment or bent stickers, it will not meet the product guidelines.

Other Street Items

Hanes and other undergarments are sold wrapped in bags and sealed.
Items that show signs of having been opened or that have partial tears in the bag will not meet the product guidelines from a hygienic perspective.

【Defective item】
Defective items will not meet the product guidelines.
During the manufacturing process, items with defects are originally removed at the time of inspection by the manufacturer.
As the manufacturer considers the item to be a B grade (defective) item, we also determine that the item does not meet the product guidelines.
