Game Consoles, Smartphones and Apple devices Guidelines

Listings on SNKRDUNK are categorized in two main categories: "Brand-new" and "Used".

In addition, the guideline standards for items quality vary depending on the listing method and item categories.

Please list your items in the item categories according to the quality of your items.

In addition, please list smartphones and games in accordance with the rules listed below.

Brand-new and complete items should be listed as brand-new, and other items should be listed as used.

Items that meet all of the following can be listed for sale. If any of the conditions are not applicable, please list the item as “Used”.

・The item is new, unused, and unopened

・The product itself and its accessories are not stained or damaged

・All accessories must be included.

*Bag for storing accessories are not considered to be required accessories

All items may be listed, except for prohibited items.

In addition, when listing used items, one of six levels of “Item Condition" must be selected, and images of the item and supplementary information must be provided to supplement the details of the item. Please refer to the table below to select the "Condition" of the item.

Please note that the criteria for clearing the authentication and inspection process vary depending on the contents of the listing (as per the information above).

Please select the correct information for name/style code of the item(s), size, and condition of the item(s).

Also, comments on used listings are considered part of the listing information and will be taken into account when inspecting the item, because they are part of the information that will be used as reference by buyers when considering the purchase of a used item.

*Deleted comments, as well as undeleted comments, may have already been viewed by the buyer and will be taken into

consideration during the authentication and inspection process.

Incorrect listing information may result in cancellation of the transaction and a cancellation fee (10% of the price) may be charged.

Items with retail stamps, barcodes (tags), or other markings applied by the dealer may also be listed as new items.

Limited to new and unused items, if they present a broken seal (i.e. showing sign of having been opened) they may be listed as brand-new items.

We also accept items including those with open (broken) seals cut off.

However, if we see opening marks or damage to the item, we may ask the purchaser whether or not the transaction can continue.

Both new and used game consoles are inspected for defects, and the consoles are started up and operated at the time of inspection.

If the console is used, we will confirm the operation of the console and any save data will be erased at the time of inspection.

Please note that data that has not been reset by the customer, any paid software and other data will be erased at the time of inspection.

*Game consoles that appear to be malfunctioning, or consoles that cannot be factory-reset cannot be listed.

Please be sure to remove any storage media such as game software or SD cards from the unit before submitting the item.

Even if the relevant fixtures are included in the listing information or promised to be included by the customer using the comment function, they are not considered accessories to the item in the transaction (they will be discarded).

If a transaction is cancelled during inspection (start of the authentication) or thereafter, there is the possibility that any of the above items eventually included may already have been discarded at the time of return arrangements.

With the exception of boxes that do not have tamper-proof seals from the beginning, items with broken seals cannot be listed as brand-new.

If the seal is broken, please list the item as a used item.

Before listing used smartphones or Apple Watches, please make sure they are functioning and were factory-reset.

In addition, please note that used items are checked for any malfunctioning, and the unit is started up and operated during inspection.

Please understand in advance that, if the device has not been factory-reset, it cannot be listed as there is the possibility we may not be able to inspect it otherwise.

*Malfunctioning smartphones or Apple Watches cannot be listed.

Moreover, even if a used Apple Watch has been factory-reset, if the Activation Lock feature is active, the device cannot be listed as it cannot be unlocked by anyone other than its owner.

Please make sure to check that the Activation Lock feature has been deactivated before listing the item.

Apple Vision Pro is limited to products sold in Japan (vision OS 1.2 or later).

If you are listing a product as “New” item, please list the product that are brand-new, unused, and unopened.

If it has already been opened, even if it is brand new and unused, please list it as “USED” item.

Please note that the size of the headband cannot be inspected and authenticated without opening the package.

For this reason, the seal on the box will be opened when it is authenticated to check that it matches the declared size.

Please understand in advance.

Depending on the listing method, the fixtures that are considered accessories for an item may vary.

Please list your items from the method that meets the criteria for required accessories listed below.

*Some fixtures may be excluded or included as exceptions, depending on the sales channel and the item itself

・Accessories that are included at the time of primary distribution

*This does not include items under the "not required" section.

・Store bags, store stickers and patches

・Delivery slips, receipts, etc.

・Fixtures that are not included at the time of primary distribution

・Accessories that can be confirmed from the listing information

*Except game software, SD cards.

*Screen protection film and accessories for smartphones and Apple Watch are also included

*If your Apple Watch band is not an official Apple product, please specify it in the supplemental description section when listing your item.

・Equipment used to take the pictures included in the listing page (rugs in the background, etc.)

*Required if mentioned in the supplementary description, accessories, and comments

・Store bags, store stickers and patches

・Delivery slips, receipts, etc. *Not required even for used smartphones and game consoles

・Game softwares, SD cards

・Fixtures that are not included at the time of primary distribution

Since smartphones and games are delicate devices, if any of the following conditions are found in the box they come within, the item is considered to be outside our guidelines standards even in case of a brand-new item (i.e. cannot be listed).

・Damage that may affect the functioning of the product itself

・There is a (likely) hole through it.

・Tamper-proof seals have been opened. *For Apple Watch only.

Even if the item in such condition, you can also choose to list your item as used, so we kindly ask you to select the relevant listing method according to the condition of the item.

The following conditions are considered as malfunctions by SNKRDUNK, and as such the items that present these cannot be listed even in the “Used” category.

・Unable to read disk

・Unable to start the main unit

・Freeze or shutdown during game play

・Excessively heavy performance (slow home screen startup, slow game loading)

・Built-in fan is excessively loud

The following items cannot be submitted for listing.

・Items that are suspected of being counterfeit

・Items not registered on SNKRDUNK

・Store bags, store stickers and patches

・Item with autographs or handwritten illustrations on them

・Items that appear to be malfunctioning　*Including initial defects

・Damaged items

・Items that have been modified

・Games consoles that cannot be factory-reset.

・Game consoles with missing controllers

・PS5, PS4, Xbox that had the sealing sticker removed

・Smartphones/Apple Watches with a network usage restriction marked as “△” or “×”.

・Smartphone/Apple Watch international models

・Items that are stained by insects or mold

・Opened items

・Items that have been turned on and operated even just once

・Items that are stained, deformed, or discolored

・Items with missing accessories

SNKRDUNK is committed to eliminating the distribution of counterfeit products.

A violation fee (50% of the total sales price) will be charged for highly malicious sales, such as items that are judged to be counterfeit or items that have been previously identified as counterfeit (or banned) and then re-listed.

In addition, we consider as disruptive any behavior that interferes with other customers' use of the site, such as listing items that are different from those on the product page in the used section.
